Over the last two and a half years, Truman College has been involved in an extensive self-study in preparation for an accreditation visit by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) of the North Central Association on March 22-24, 2010. Find out more about the process on the self-study website.
Student Nurse Association Auction begins March 10
Bid in the Student Nurses Association Silent Auction
Bid on massages, Clinique skin care, gift cards from local restaurants, and more! Items will be on display in Truman's front lobby on March 10, and then in the Nursing Office on the 2nd floor. Bids will close on Wednesday, March 17 at 5pm. Proceeds benefit the SNA.
513 Word Event is this Friday, March 12
513 words
513 Words: a creative writing exercise/public performance, will be held this Friday, March 12 at 6 pm at Truman College in Novar Hall, Room 3426. There is still time to participate. Or just come listen to the stories. The rules: Use the following seven words in a piece of writing: boy, dance, group, harvest, privilege, step, system. The piece must be 513 words in length.
