Career Exploration Sites
- The Beehive Career Coach has online assessments and a step-by-step process to help you figure out what careers may interest you.
- Career Voyages is a full-service career site that includes information about career options, job growth, wages and career tools.
- Illinois Department of Employment Security(IDES) is a wealth of information about the employment situation in Illinois.
- Illinois Workforce Info Center is a web based computer system that contains a full-range of LMI, or labor market information. LMI is a collection of information about employment, unemployment and other factors affecting the labor market. Some examples of LMI are: wages by occupation and industry; jobs that are growing or declining; unemployment rates; employers by occupation and industry; and employment trends.
- Women Employed, in conjunction with a diverse group of partners, launched Upgrade Your Future to educate lower-income, underemployed women about opportunities and careers in information technology so that they may pursue good jobs that pay family-supporting wages.

- QuietAgentTM is a career resource for CCC students & alumni.
- U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics
- Youth Rules! is a resource for summer jobs for teens.
- As part of the government's creation of a federal workforce, the Transportation Security Administration is recruiting Transportation Security Screeners and several other administrative, supervisory and management positions at the Chicago area airports.
